Our Receiving Process is Top Notch
Receiving is on area that we’ve put a lot of focus on and it really sets us apart from our competition. A very common practice in the order fulfillment industry is to charge a receiving fee but at Ship Central standard receiving is free!

In addition to offering free standard receiving our process is very in depth. Our warehouse management system (WMS) allows you to tell us when to expect shipments and all the info we need to know (products, amounts, etc.). When we receive a shipment we double check what was expected versus what we actually received. If there’s any problems we let you know. No more guessing, hoping or wondering if or when your inventory arrives.
We even go the extra step and track version and lot numbers so that we can follow strict first in first out (FIFO) procedure. This is especially important for supplement sellers! We have customers who’ve lost a lot of money with other order fulfillment companies that didn’t track version/lot or follow FIFO procedures. One supplement company told us they had to throw away $30,000 in inventory because it expired as a result of poor inventory management. Not good.

Our Picking, Packing, Shipping Capabilities 
We mentioned it before but we’ll say it again our accuracy rate is 99% and a lot of that is due to the fact that we’ve incorporated product verification into our picking, packing and shipping process. Every item that gets pulled for an order gets scanned and verified before we pack it up and ship it. This has been extremely effective in helping us reduce mistakes.
When it comes to shipping we guarantee any orders received by noon ship same day and all orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours. We know that many ecommerce startups struggle to keep orders going out everyday, it’s also tough to go on vacation when orders keep coming in, with us orders can keep getting processed and shipped every day no matter what.
