Not following these instructions will increase receiving time, and costs.
Overview
Each customer is responsible to be sure the following criteria are met before items can be received into inventory.
Incoming pallet shipments scheduled through our Logistics Department (dispatch@shipcentral.com) will receive daily updates, and will be given priority receiving into inventory once the shipment arrives at ShipCentral.
Receiving Hours (Mountain Time)
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm Closed 12:00pm – 12:35pm for lunch
Our service level agreement receiving times will begin once all conditions are met.
- Scannable barcode on each item
- Product ID created for each item using barcode and accurate product description in your ShipCentral portal
- Create Offer ID’s for your products in your ShipCentral portal using the product skus from your shopping cart
- Create a Product Receiving Order in your ShipCentral portal to announce your Expected Arrivals for each product
- Accurate Packing List with shipment or emailed to Support dept.
Standard Receiving Procedure 2-3 full business days after requirements are met
- Standard procedure is to receive your products according to the data from your:
- Expected Arrivals as entered in your customer portal
- Packing List, Bill of Lading
- Carton/Container Labels
- Barcodes on each unit to be received
Non-standard Receiving 3-4 full business days once requirements are met
- Non-standard Receiving will be billed hourly or as otherwise agreed per your fulfillment agreement on the following conditions:
- No Expected Arrivals order
- No Packing List Provided
- Missing barcodes
- Mixed cartons, or other sorting needed
- Pallet and Container unloading
- Item Barcodes – Each item unit received must have a 2D scannable UPC/EAN/ISBN or comparable, or Amazon FNSKU barcode unique to that product sku – It is recommended you put them on beforehand, otherwise time and cost for receiving will increase.
- No Barcode – For items with no barcode attached, our standard procedure is to move items aside, and notify the customer, and delay product receiving until all conditions are met.
- SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) – The clock for the SLA’s starts the next business day after the following conditions are met.
How To Ship It
Pallets:
- 1-3 pallets can be delivered M-F from 8:00am to 4:30pm FCFS (First Come First Serve)
- 4 pallets or more coming in to Ship Central, they will need an appointment scheduled through our dispatch@shipcentral.com email.
- Pallets larger than 40 inches x 48 inches x 52 inches may be broken down, and possibly subject to receiving costs
- Single item pallets when possible
- Mixed pallets are subject to Non-standard Receiving charges
- Wrapped to protect against damage
Cartons
- Single item cartons
- Mixed cartons are subject to Non-standard Receiving charges
- Cartons labeled with Brand, Product description, and Quantities
Include With Shipment
- Expected Arrival entry in ShipCentral portal
- Company or Brand Name
- Detailed packing list or Bill of Lading including – Brand, Product Description, Quantity of each, UPC or barcode number for each
- Carton/Container label with Brand, Product Description, and Quantity
